The June 2011 meeting welcomed Mike Haselden who explained and demonstrated his technique for inlaying a contrasting ring into the rim of a bowl. His “ring saver” idea was very useful and I have already collected a store of rings for future use.

As always there was an impressive gallery. Hopefully we will see some inlaid rims in July.
There was no Gallery Challenge from May as Roger Colenutt is unfortunately unable to be with us for the time being.
