Arnold Catterall gave a demonstration of turning Birds and Snowmen. The Birds being inspired by Lars Beller Fjetland,  though simple to make, the variety of possibilities in size and shape allow for personalising. The Snowmen on a similar theme can be made using cheap materials and are a great Christmas seller.
